Bio : Dr. Basharat Ali is working in the Department of Chemistry, University of Baltistan, Skardu Pakistan as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Previously, he was working in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBS), International Islamic University, Islamabad, from February 2021 to 31st July 2025. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University, China. He worked on organometallic catalysis for polymer synthesis and synthesis of organic solar cells. During his post-doctorate in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Soochow University, China, he worked on the synthesis of chemiluminescent dioxetane probes, fluorescent probes, and the synthesis of anthraquinone (Rhein and Emodin Natural Products) derivatives. He got a PhD in organic chemistry from the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, ICCBS, University of Karachi. During his PhD he worked on the synthesis of hydrazones, thiosemicarbazides, 1,2,4-triazoles, and other heterocyclic compounds. Twenty-four students completed their MS/M.Phil thesis under his supervision. One PhD student completed his thesis under his co-supervision, and 02 are in the pipeline. He has published 01 book/chapter, 01 patent, 22 papers (till 2025) in reputed journals, including the Journal of Organic Chemistry, the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Tetrahedron, Bioorganic Chemistry, and the Journal of Material Chemistry A, etc. He is a reviewer of many reputed journals like Bioorganic Chemistry and RCS Advance, etc. His recent research focuses on design, synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of medicinally important synthetic small molecules, particularly, in the field of heterocyclic chemistry.

Bio : El-Sayed Salama is a Professor at the School of Public Health (PHS) at Lanzhou University (LZU) and heads the Green Environmental and Energy Laboratory (GEEL). He was previously a Foreign Talent Fellow (Category A) at PHS, LZU, and is a Distinguished Expert of Science and Technology in Gansu Province's Ecological Industry (China). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Hanyang University's Department of Earth Resources and Environmental Engineering. Salama was a Brain Korea (BK21) fellow during his MSc and Ph.D. studies and conducted Post-Doctoral research at HYU (South Korea). He earned his BSc degree from Benha University (Egypt). Prof. Salama and his research team have made significant contributions to the scientific community, publishing over 140 SCI papers, obtaining 7 patents, authoring 3 books, writing 4 book chapters, facilitating 1 technology transfer, and delivering >50 invited talks. Salama serves as an Editor, Associate Editor, and Editorial Board Member for several international journals. Stanford University, USA, has recognized him among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide for four consecutive years. His research team at LZU specializes in “Bioenvironmental Sciences & Bioenergy”.

Bio : Professor Rajan Jose supervises the Nanostructured Renewable Energy Materials Laboratory in the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and is the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Nature journal Materials Circular Economy and Editor-in-Chief of Current Science & Technology. He has served as the Dean of Research of UMP during Feb 2016 – Aug 2019 and a member of various committees of UMP and Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

He has investigated nanostructured perovskite ceramics for microwave and superconducting electronics during doctoral research at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Trivandrum, India and has received PhD degree in the year 2002.He has contributed to the science and engineering of diverse range of materials. He was employed as a scientist at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (India), AIST (Japan), Toyota Technological Institute (Japan), and the National University of Singapore (Singapore) before joining UMP. He has published over 230 papers in Web of Science (Thomson Reuters) indexed journals which are cited over12800 times with an h-index of 60 according to Google Scholar database.
